Joan Glancy Memorial Hospital is being relocated from its historic location near downtown Duluth to the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road and Howell Ferry Road. In a press release on October 4, 2004, Gwinnett Hospital System announced the plans. Construction on the 89-bed hospital is now complete. The new facility provides state-of-the-art inpatient medical, surgical, intensive and intermediate care and 24-hour emergency services.
